Craig Newmark the founder of craigslist.org talks about the value of community service and keeping things free. No one can question the success of craigslist or the fact that it has managed to maintain the pioneering spirit of web publishing.

While Newmark maintains that he is simply a customer service representative for the site, craigslist is almost single handedly responsible for stripping away classified ad revenue from many mainstream newspapers.
